Work in Progress

After posting the progress shots of the guitar painting, I thought it would be a good idea to show the process in a little more detail. This is a paintings I am currently working on and hope to finish tonight or tomorrow night. In the bottom right image, you can see where I added the tar glaze, then in the picture to the right, you can see where I wiped the excess tar away. She does not have a title yet. Her left hand still needs finishing and the tulips need to be attached to the canvas. The tulip stems, which will be made of rusted metal, need to be added as well. Then I will need to add a tar glaze to her blouse for texture and additional depth.
